Try to stay indoors in the late morning and mid-afternoon

You will need to limit your children’s time outdoors between the hours of 10 AM to 4 PM. During this time period, the sun’s rays are at their strongest levels. This is when your skin may experience the greatest damage.

Talk to teachers and camp counselors about skin health

You will also want to check in with your children’s teachers, coaches and camp counselors to make sure that they follow guidelines about skin health. Be sure that other adults taking care of your children know the best tips for keeping your child’s skin healthy.
